Houston Banks has over 40 years of safety and training experience.

Mr. Banks began his career at Armco Steel Mill, starting as a heavy equipment operator/mechanic and completing a five year apprentice program. After the steel mill closed, he joined The International Union of Operating Engineers quickly becoming a Master Mechanic over the I.U.E.O. training site. At that time he also received his trainer certification from Texas A&M. He was responsible for the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures as well as training materials with respect to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) federal regulations.

He is constantly researching to keep himself up to date on all the latest safety trends and news.  Our weekly safety blog gives helpful tips and ideas on how to keep you and your family safe.  Check back every week to see what advice Houston has for you!
